Do You Need Volunteers to Help Make a Difference Day?
Oct. 22 is the annual volunteer event so list it here and Patch will help get people out to help!
On Sat., Oct. 22, thousands of volunteers will take time to help out a variety of worthy groups and organizations for the annual Make a Difference Day event.
For example, the is a work in progress in that still needs help. Friends and neighbors are asked to pull on some gloves and sturdy boots to help clear brush and pick up garbage from 9 am to Noon.
I'll be there, taking pictures and getting dirty, but I know there are a lot of other great opportunities out there.
