Because cheerleading is not considered a sport, it is not supported as part of the WIAA. Team members and their parents are responsible for all costs associated with uniforms, camp and competitions.
Money raised during the car wash and at other fundraising events help defray the costs of participating in cheerleading at Washington Park High School.
