Mount Pleasant Voters Went For Walker, Barrett, Lehman

By 11:15 pm, all seven Mount Pleasant polling locations were reporting, and totals indicate that residents were going for Gov. Scott Walker, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, and former Sen. John Lehman.

Results in Mount Pleasant started to roll into Village Hall shortly before 9 pm for the state's historic recall primary election.

Out of the village's 17,137 registered voters, a total of 7,885 ballots were cast. A turnout of between 30 and 35 percent was projected, but Mount Pleasant residents turned out at a rate of 46 percent.
