South Shore Assistant In Critical Condition After Accident

SSFD Chief Robert Stedman confirmed that Lori Swenson is in critical condition following a motorcycle accident Sunday.

South Shore Fire Administrative Assistant Lori Swenson is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning.

SSFD Chief Robert Stedman confirmed with Patch Monday that her condition is stable and her vital signs are good, but she remains in the intensive care unit at Froedtert Hospital.

"Her injuries are significant," he confirmed. "I would ask that everyone keep Lori and her family in their prayers."

Oak Creek Fire Dept. Capt. Steve Anderson would only say that he can't comment about an accident currently under investigation.

Stedman did confirm that the accident involved only the motorcycle on which Swenson was riding and that she and another person - whose name and condition areΒ not being released at this time - were thrown from the bike.
