Possible Abduction Starts in Mount Pleasant, Ends in Kenosha

The possible abduction of a woman from Mount Pleasant early Sunday morning is under investigation.

A possible abduction that started in Mount Pleasant and ended in Kenosha is presumably still under investigation, but details Sunday evening are few and far between.

Mount Pleasant police radioed Kenosha police at about 3 a.m. Sunday that they were in pursuit of a vehicle with a 24-year-old male driver and a 26-year-old female driver. The man was suspected of abducting the woman, according to a story in The Kenosha News.

At some point after 3 a.m., Mount Pleasant police terminated the chase. Then, at 10 a.m. Mount Pleasant police contacted Kenosha police and said the vehicle had been found, but was empty.

Patch will update this story as details become available.
