Horlick High School gym teacher Thomas Adams plead not guilty Wednesday to a single charge of child enticement.

reported that he made inappropriate comments to her about trading good grades for exposing herself to him.

He appeared in court with his defense attorney, Pat Cafferty, and waived his right to a preliminary hearing, which automatically binds him over for trial. In a clear voice, Adams confirmed that he had not been threatened to sign the waiver form, and he understood what the form explained.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl told police that Adams allegedly told her “you’re sexy,” “you’re going to get me fired,” “(expletive), you’re sexy.”  He also made remarks about her clothing, and physical appearance.

Assistant District Attorney Randall Schneider told Court Commissioner Alice A. Rudebusch the state has not made any offer to Adams.

"I have to have a conversation with the victim's family," he said.

Adams is free after posting a $20,000 cash bond. He will have a pre-trial conference on April 12. He will also have a bond hearing on March 11.

3 of my 4 sons have him, this teacher is just loved by his students and there is quite a bit of anger towards the girl going around. However.........we need to let the courts figure out who is lying. Sad though if it is the girl because if innocent this man's life is ruined.
