Armed Robbery Suspects at Large in Mount Pleasant

A south side gas station was robbed at gunpoint by two men around 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Mount Pleasant Police say two armed men got away with an undisclosed amount of money Tuesday after they robbed the SF Petroleum gas station.

According to a written release from MPPD, around 12 p.m., two men dressed in grey hooded sweatshirts and wearing ski masks both displayed hand guns when they demanded cash from the employee behind the counter.

The suspects - believed to be between 5'10" and 6' - fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No shots were fired, and neither the employee nor the sole customer inside the store were injured.
