Knitting, Crafts and Choir Were Important to Carol Jensen

A member of Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, she also headed up the Prayer Chain.

Mrs. Carol M. Jensen, 85, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints on Saturday, May 14, 2011.

Carol was born in Racine to the late Ernest and Regina (nee: Albright) Kluge on November 11, 1925.  She lived most of her life in Racine.  She was united in marriage to Ralph L. Jensen on August 9, 1947, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Racine.

An active member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church, Carol headed the Prayer Chain for many years and also enjoyed being part of a crafting group. She loved to knit for her family as well as perfect strangers, knitting countless prayer shawls and baby hats. She had a life-long love of music singing in church choirs and community groups. But most importantly, she loved and enjoyed her family.
