Racine Lutheran Student Featured on CBS Television Program

Racine Lutheran High student Michalia Swanson and her parents, Del and Julie Swanson, along with staff member Susie Drummond, were recently interviewed by CBS 58 anchor Jessica Tighe after Michalia won the First District Congressional Art Competition. Her artwork features her uncle, Corpsman Benjamin Swanson, and will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol’s Cannon Tunnel for one year. Special thanks to Racine Lutheran art teacher Debra DeKeuster and to Congressman Paul Ryan. See the segment on Racine & Me, to be aired Saturday, June 22, at 6:30 a.m., on CBS affiliate WMLW: Time Warner cable 982/HD 1007, basic cable 49 or U-verse 7/HD1007.
