Baskin Robbins and South Shore Fire Department Help Raise Money for Families of Fallen Firefighters

The crowd gathered for 31-cent ice cream, to learn about fire safety and raise money for a great cause.

Residents from throughout the community gathered at Baskin Robbins on Washington Avenue last night, April 27, to take advantage of 31-cent ice cream cones, but they were also there to enjoy the sense of community, learn about fire safety with the South Shore Fire Department, and help the families of fallen firefighters.

According to Jenny Wasinack, 15 percent of the evening proceeds would go toward the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Baskin Robbins plans to donate $100,000 to the organization.
