Work on the new Panda Express restaurant continues even in the rain.
Mount Pleasant's newest eatery is on schedule to open Aug. 8, according to Logan Martin, community development coordinator for the village.
Panda Express is located in front of Xperience Fitness at the corner of Washington Avenue and Highway 31.
A few weeks ago, there were signs on the perimeter fence asking for candidates for both part-time hourly positions and a salaried general manager. The fence has since been taken down as constructions winds down so we have a message into the company about whether or not applications are still being accepted.
