Village Board To Discuss Pending Harassment Claim

Village Planning Director Ron Meyer has been put on administrative leave, according to village board member Don Schulz.

The board is expected to discuss a "pending harassment claim" in closed session on Monday, which may involve Meyer.

However, Schulz would not confirm or deny that Meyer was the subject of a harassment claim, saying that Meyer's status with the village was "a personnel issue." Village administrator Kurt Wahlen confirmed that Meyer was still employed by the Village, but also would not comment any further on the matter.

The village board meeting is expected to start at 6 p.m. Monday at Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.
