Sturtevant Boy Yells 'Play Ball' to Start Brewers Game

Chosen at random, Luke Wright was in the right place at the right time.

Luke Wright, 4, of was picked out of the crowd to "start" the first game of the Milwaukee Brewers' series with the Arizona Diamondbacks at Miller Park on Sat., Oct. 1, 2011.

Some of the perks of his "job" meant he got to be on the field during the player introductions and the first pitch before taking on the responsibility of starting the game with a rousing yell of "Play ball!"

Wright's dad, Chris, is a Sturtevant trustee who missed his son's moment in the spotlight because he had to work.
