'Well-rounded' Case Student Plans to Continue His Success in College
Nick Rauenbuehler is an award-winning singer and tennis player who also earned academic honors.
As a student at J.I. Case High School, Nick Rauenbuehler spent three years on the tennis team and four years playing volleyball, earning MVP, a sportsmanship award, and being named to the RUSD all-academic team. He’s used his vocal talents as one of Case’s Master Singers, performed as “the boy next door” in Case’s production of “Meet Me in St. Louis,” earned top honors in state vocal music competitions, and leads a youth praise band at his church. He’s been vice-president of the National Honor Society, taken part in Model OAS, taught algebra to younger students, and participated in Positive Impact.
In addition, Nick has spent countless hours of service at his church: serving as a youth leader, a mentor to younger boys and taking part in four missions trips.
Now he plans to move on to the University of Wisconsin–Madison to pursue a degree in finance and continue to serve God with all his talents and abilities. He received on of the Tim Westrich Memorial Scholarships.
