Racine Unified Candidate Forum Tuesday at Starbuck

The Racine PTA is hosting a forum for the candidates running for seats on the Racine Unified Board of Education.

Residents of the Racine Unified community looking to learn about the candidates for school board can do so at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Starbuck Middle School.

The Racine PTA Council is hosting a forum where members of the audience can meet the six candidates and ask questions.

A total of 10 candidates turned in nomination papers for the three seats up for grabs, and after .

Challenger Mike Frontier garnered more votes than incumbents Julie McKenna and Chris Eperjesy. The rest of the top six round out with Robert Wittke, Roger Pfost and Kristie Formolo.

Voters will next head to the polls on April 2. The top three candidates that day will join the school board.
