UW-Extension and Master Gardeners Class at Racine Food Bank

UW-Extension and the Master Gardener volunteers are offering a free gardening and composting class at the Teaching Garden, at the Racine County Food Bank, 2000 DeKoven Avenue.

The class is set for 4-5 p.m. and is titled "It's Not Too Late to Plant! Warm Season/Cool Season/Short Season Plants for the Small Vegetable Garden," with Patti Nagai, Horticulture Educator for Racine County UW-Extension.

Volunteers will accept donations of canned goods or monetary contributions, for the Racine County
Food Bank.

Registration is required and atleast 5 participants must be registered for each class. One-day advance registration is needed.
