Speaking in public can be a dreaded or non-intimidating task. In either case, communicating effectively with the audience is the desired end result. Toastmasters can help control fear and being effective even when feeling confident. The Sunburst Club Toastmaster of Mount Pleasant is meeting on Thursday Jan 12 from 7:30 – 8:30AM at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall located at 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant WI 53406.
The theme for the meeting will be “Holy” and John Johnson will lead the meeting as the Toastmaster for the day.

Featured speakers Ken Stenzel will be presenting an advanced project, Jim Maderski will speak on “Green is Not Black and White” with the project goal to Research Your Topic, and Dave Fogarty will give his “Ice Breaker” speech.
Jim Maderski will challenge members with “Table Topics” to practice speaking extemporaneously.
All are invited to see how Toastmasters helps sharpen leadership & communication skills.
