Music and a whole lot more is going on in Racine County this weekend. Here are some suggestions from Real Racine.

Heavy metal or pop. We have music and a whole lot more in Racine County this weekend. Here are some suggestions from Real Racine.

Life is a cabaret.  If you like singing, dancing and pop music, from Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra, you’ll want to catch the Dairy Statesmen A Capella Chorus on Friday, Sept. 28. The Statesmen, joined by the Night Wing band, present two complete cabaret shows at Fountain Hall, 8505 Durand Ave., Sturtevant. The luncheon show starts at 11:30 a.m. Tickets at $31 are sold in advance ONLY. The evening show, which doesn’t include a meal, is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance or at the door. Call 262-498-9955 for ticket information.

Get ready to rock. Hairball, a tribute to ‘80s arena rock, comes to Memorial Hall, 72 Seventh St., at 7 p.m. Saturday. This group, which wowed The Color Run audience back in May, brings a full presentation of power bands like KISS, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, AC/DC and many, many more – complete with pyrotechnics. Tickets are $15 in advance, via ticketmaster.com or at the Civic Centre box office, and $23 at the door. For more about Hairball, click HERE. For a Hairball video preview, click HERE
