First Call for First Fridays; Last Call for the Easter Bunny

Easter weekend is here already! Real Racine has some great suggestions.

Easter weekend is here already. It's a time for family and friends as well as an opportunity to get out and about! Here are our weekend tips.

First Fridays is back! What better sign of spring than the return of First Fridays in Downtown Racine? Come downtown from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 6 for special buys and entertainment at more than 50 businesses. There is FREE admission starting at 10 a.m. at the Racine Art Museum (RAM), 441 Main St., including hands-on activities for whole family. For more on First Fridays visit: www.firstfridaysracine.com.

RAM brings back PEEPs.  They’re not sticky, bright colored marshmallow shapes, they’re art! Racine Art Museum presents the 3rd Annual International PEEPs Competition. Artists of all ages have fashioned this Easter candy into amazing art creations. On Friday, you’re invited to stop by RAM and decide which artist deserves the PEEPles Choice Award. The PEEPs exhibit runs through April 22. Visit www.ramart.org.
