Need to Look for Your Name on Wanggaard Petition? It's Easy as A-B-C

The campaign for State Sen. Van Wanggaard has posted an alphabetized list of everyone who signed a recall petition for him.

Searching for your name on a recall petition for State Sen. Van Wanggaard just got a lot easier.

Wanggaard's campaign website now has a link that allows users to download a PDF of an alphabetized list of residents who signed the petition. We've also uploaded the list to accompany this story.

In an interview with The Journal Times, Wanggaard said his office wanted to post an easy-to-read list so people can verify whether or not their name is on a recall petition.

"I want people to easily look at what was entered and confirm if they did or did not put their signature down," Wanggaard is quoted as saying.

Racine-area volunteers are still working to verify signatures at the GOP Victory Center at 6211 Durand Avenue in Mount Pleasant. The office is open from 9 am to 9 pm Monday - Friday. Call (262) 260-8099 for more information.

Just checked and no one forged Hoffa's signature! I wonder if the Walker campaign will be putting together a searchable list as well, as the GAB has already stated that they will not being doing that. Anyone have any insight?

There seems to be more than one group going through these sheets. So I'm sure one of them is putting them into a database. Thing is whether they will be accepted to be published. Those collecting the signatures on these recall sheets should be required to get them notarized. The errors on these sheets are beyond belief. This after the democrats supposedly went through the sheets and eliminated any problem signatures.

I checked and I am happy to see my name is on the list. I also learned from that Wanggaard site to not conduct any business any longer with unCorkt. I urge all readers to avoid doing business with any company that supports a right wing wacko.

I checked also and found my name. I actually need to thank Wanggaard for doing the list. I had been searching the pdf's from the state for my signature without success. Thanks to him I knew right where to find it. Now I can take a screen print and make it my facebook cover image. (minus all private information of course.) I want to world to know I signed and am proud of it.
