Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant 2013 Spring Election Guide
Voters in the Villages of Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant will decide on State Supreme Court, State Superintendent, a Village President each, three spots on each Village Board, and three seats on the Racine Unified School Board on April 2.
We want to make sure you've got all the information you need before hitting the voting booth on Tuesday, April 2. See below for information on the upcoming election and a breakdown of every race, with links to individual candidate profiles.
Mount Pleasant voters take note: Peace Lutheran is no longer a polling place. Please check the list below for where your ward now votes.
Election Info
- Sample Ballot: To see a sample ballot, go to the state's My Vote Wisconsin website.
- Polling locations: Your specific polling location can be found on the My Vote Wisconsin site.
- Registering to vote: If you have not yet registered, you can do so at Village Hall through Friday, March 29. You can also register on Election Day at the polls.
- Early voting: You may vote in person at Village Hall now through Friday, March 29. You may also cast an absentee ballot by mail, but it must be postmarked no later than Election Day, Tuesday, April 2. Here is more information on voting early in Wisconsin.
- Voter ID: Because of recent court rulings, Wisconsin's Voter ID law will not be enforced and you do not need an identification to vote. If you are registering to vote, you will need to bring a proof of residence. For more information on the Voter ID law, visit the state's election website.

Wards 17, 18 & 20 - Messiah Lutheran, 3015 Pritchard Drive
Wards 19, 21, 22 & 23 - Concordia Lutheran School, 3350 Lathrop Avenue
All residents can cast ballots at Village Hall, 2801 89th Street.
