Cory Mason Appointed to State Joint Committee for Finance

The Democrat from Racine replaces Jennifer Schilling.

The state Joint Committee on Finance has a new face in the crowd.

Rep. Cory Mason (D-Racine) was appointed by Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha) to fill the seat left by Jennifer Schilling as she moves over to the Senate chamber. Mason represents parts of Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant.

Mason previously served on the committee during the 2009-2011 legislative session. He and Rep. Tamara Grigsby (D-Milwaukee) are the two Democratic Assemblypersons on the Committee. Rep. Robin Vos (R-Rochester) is the co-chair of the joint committee.
