Warrant Issued: Racine Man Accused of Stalking Mount Pleasant Woman

Police have issued a $5,000 warrant for the arrest of Mark Fiebig.

The Racine County District Attorney has issued a $5,000 warrant for Mark Fiebig, 52, of Racine, for Felony Stalking and violating a restraining order.

If convicted Fiebig could face up to $11,000 in fines and/or up to three years, nine months in prison.

According to the criminal complaint, Police on Sept. 7 responded to a call about harrassing phone calls. When they arrived at the home in the 4300 block of Durand Avenue, the victim told officers about several phone calls and threatening messages the suspect allegedly left on an answering machine in violation of a restraining order issued in 2009.

Reports indicate police transferred the telephone messages to a CD for evidence and that responding officers called the suspect to tell him to stop calling the victim.

During the course of their investigation at the scene, police discovered the restraining order in question expired on April 23, 2011, but the victim was going to try and get it reinstated or extended. From statements reported by the victim, Fiebig thought the order was still valid as well.
