Teen Visits Friend, Takes Some Drugs, Returns to Break Into Friend's House

Mount Pleasant police say a Jaime Garcia broke into his friend's house on Sunday after being there earlier in the day.

Mount Pleasant Police received a call late last night, June 26, from a residence on Lazy Wood Court about a break-in with the suspect still inside the home.

When officers arrived on scene, Jaime Garcia, 17, of Racine, was running out of the house bleeding from his hand. He was taken into custody without incident.

During questioning, Garcia admitted to being friends with one of the residents of the home and said he'd been there visiting earlier in the day. He also admitted to using drugs before returning to the home where he broke a window in the dining room to crawl through so he could go upstairs to hurt his friend.
