Suspected Thief Admits to Stealing Woman's Credit Card, Police Say

Police say a Sturtevant man stole a woman's credit card and used it at various locations in Mount Pleasant and the City of Racine.

Despite a pending case against him for theft, a Sturtevant man allegedly took a woman's purse from a local bar and then used her credit card several times at area stores.

Noconnoco Price, 51, was charged Wednesday in Racine County Circuirt Court with five felony counts of personal identity theft for financial gain, repeater and one count of misdemeanor theft, repeater. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years, nine months in prison and/or up to $60,000 in fines. Because he is considered a repeat offender, Price could get more time tacked on to his sentence.

According to the criminal complaint, a woman was at Joey's on Taylor, 1863 Taylor, on Sept. 21, when her wallet was stolen out of her purse. She recovered her wallet, but it was missing a credit card.
