Now that the South Shore Fire Department has moved into its new headquarters, they're ready to show it off.

From 1 to 4 pm on Sat., May 14, residents are invited to tour the station and participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.Β

Additionally, Chief William Bouma is organizing a contest for the sprinkler demonstration. Residents will submit their guess for how many minutes and seconds it will take for the sprinklers to activate. There will be two categories; one for adults and one for kids.
