Police Search for Man Who Exposed Himself in Park

Racine police are looking for a man they say exposed himself to a young girl.

Racine police are searching for a man they say exposed himself to a young girl in Owen Davies Park Wednesday morning.

A woman told officers she was jogging on the path through the park around 7 a.m. Wednesday when she observed a young girl who looked scared as she walked past a man sitting on a bench. The woman said the man was exposing himself and waving his penis at the girl.

Police say the woman provided this description of the suspect:

  • Light-skinned black or mixed race male
  • 25- 30 years old
  • Short, black curly hair
  • Last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans
  • Fled the scene in a blue minivan
Racine police Sgt. Jessie Metoyer said in a written statement that the girl is believed to be about 13 years old and has not contacted police to file a complaint about the incident.
