Multiple Burglary Defendant Has Her Day in Court

Police say a Mount Pleasant woman - with help from two or three friends - broke into three homes on three different dates last year.

Police say a Mount Pleasant woman and two men broke into three homes in Yorkville last year to steal jewelry, computers and guns, among other things.

Jenna Quadracci, 25, was charged Thursday in Racine County Circuit Court with four counts of felony burglary of a building or dwelling and two felony counts of theft, special facts. If convicted, she faces up to 62 years in prison and/or up to $120,000 in fines. Because she is considered a repeat offender, any sentence she might receive could increase signficiantly.

According to the criminal complaint, police were called to three homes in Union Grove, Raymond and Yorkville last year; one each in July, August and November for reports of burlgaries.

At first, Quadracci denied being part of any crimes, but eventually she admitted to helping Aaron Mianecki and Dustin Schwartz take a variety of items from the homes. Quadracci told police she actively participated taking from the houses quantities of jewelry, computers, video gaming systems, at least one flat-screen television, a candy jar full of change, a safe, and from one home, two rifles, the complaint reads.

Police say the homeowners arrived during the burglary at the Raymond home Quadracci is accused of breaking into and scared the defendant off, but not before she was able to grab some jewelry and drive off.

The last burglary in Yorkville also involved Robert Philopulous of Milwaukee, police say. A computer was pawned in Milwaukee by Philopulous, and a flat-screen television was recovered when police executed a search warrant on his residence.

Philopulous reportedly admitted to helping Quadracci break into the Raymound house, and they got away with jewelry, a computer, a 32" TV, and a safety box with important documents of the victim's.

Quadracci is being held at the Racine County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond. She is next due in court on April 18.

Mianecki also had his initial appearance Thursday and is also being held on a $100,000 cash bond. Racine Police are also investigating Mianecki's involvement in the heroin death of Glen Jaskulske last June. He is facing first degree reckless homicide charges in that case.
