Firefighter Pleads Not Guilty to Second Degree Sexual Assault of Patient
Somers firefighter Jodin Froeber will have his next court date on Sept. 28.
Somers firefighter Jodin Froeber pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a single count of second-degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim.
Froeber appeared in Racine County Circuit Court with his attorney, Jamie Lavora, before Court Commissioner Alice A. Rudebusch to waive a formal reading of the charges against him and to enter his plea.
He is accused of while he transported her to the hospital after she suffered a seizure.

that there was enough evidence to bind Froeber over for trial.
Somers Fire Chief Steven Krause confirmed that Froeber is still on paid administrative leave and he will remain on leave until the case is decided.

If convicted, Froeber faces up to 40 years in prison and/or up to $100,000 in fines.
His next court date is a pre-trial conference on Sept. 28 at 8:15 a.m.
