Mount Pleasant-Sturtevant Patch readers apparently love to read about some of the bad things people do in our area.

When we went looking for the most read stories in August, we were a little surprised to find that not one political, business or schools story made the list. Instead, readers flocked to stories about crime and tragedy consistently throughout the month.
