Crime of the Week: Police Seeking Vandals

The Racine Police Department is asking for the public's help finding the suspects who damaged vehicles and the building of a local business.

Vandals who damaged vehicles and the building of a local business are being sought by the Racine Police Department.

According to police reports, two male suspects - one black and the other white or Hispanic - damaged several vehicles and the building at Industrial Contruction & Associates at 1718 Layard Avenue.

Witnesses told officers that when they arrived at work the morning of Sept. 8 they discovered the damage. The crime is estimated to have occured sometime after 10 p.m. on Sept. 7 or the early morning hours of Sept. 8.

Both suspects are thought to be teenagers and one may have been injured during the commission of this crime.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 262-636-9330, online at http://racine.crimestoppersweb.com, or by texting RACS to 274637 (CRIMES). Tips that lead to arrest could mean up to a $1,000 reward.
