BREAKING: Mount Pleasant Woman Robbed at Home at Stun Gun Point

Police say a two suspects stunned a female resident, took her laptop and purse and fled on foot.

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a woman at her home after using a stun gun to subdue her.

Shortly before 10 pm on Fri., Feb. 3, officers responded to a call in the 4000 block of Pine Hill Blvd. She told police that when she arrived home, two male suspects approached her and demanded that she hand over whatever she had. One of the suspects held a stun gun and used it on the victim twice to subdue her.

According to the written release from MPPD, the suspects took the woman's laptop and her purse that did contain some cash. The suspects fled on foot, possibly toward the Georgetown Subdivision. Sargeant Shawn Lueke said reports indicate the victim did not suffer injuries requiring a rescue call.

The victim described the suspects:

  • Both male
  • One was black, wearing a black mask
  • The first is believed to be 5'10" - 6' with a thin build
  • The second was also wearing a mask, race unknown
  • Second suspect was a shorter than the first

Units from the Racine County Sheriff's Office and assisted in the search, but the suspects remain at large. This crime remains under investigation.

Terrible scumbags. Conceal carry will help keep some of this in check but criminals are looking for victims. They will find the ones they see as the easiest prey just as the lion lurks for the weakness most helpless prey to stalk and bring down . We have to step up and help each other as much as possible on crime and the be aware when danger is lurking
