UPDATE: A Photo May Lead to Identity of Woman Found on the Rocks of Lake Michigan

Police found the photo in the woman's pocket.

A photograph found in the pocket of a woman who was found today, July 15, on the rocks of the shores of Lake Michigan could lead to her identity.

Police are hoping someone will recognize the person in the photo as the victim or someone the victim knew that will lead to the woman's identity.

The body of a woman of possibly Asian descent has been pulled from the rocks on the shores of Lake Michigan at approximately the 1,000 block of Pershing Drive. Racine Police were called at about 2 pm today, July 15.

According to a story in The Racine Journal Times, police say the woman is in her late teens or early 20s. She was fully clothed but did not have identification. Officers say she was in the water for less than 12 hours.

Sam Quella from Green Bay said he was asked to call police by another man who found the body because that witness did not have a cell phone.
