This annual fundraiser, “Take a Taste Out of Crime”, helps support the work of Racine Neighborhood Watch, Inc. (Racine Neighborhood Watch). Racine Neighborhood Watch works with Racine residents to create safe, friendly and attractive neighborhoods through its crime prevention and quality of life programming.

“Take a Taste Out of Crime” is a spectacular tasting of wines, beer and Wisconsin cheeses, featuring a dazzling array of 60-80 varieties EACH of wines and beers, and over 40 regional cheeses.  All of the featured products can be ordered for later enjoyment.

Live jazz will be performed by CSQ, featuring Steve Jacob on saxophone, Doug Clum on piano, Mike Gudbaur on bass, and Paul Frederickson on drums.

There will be free soda and appetizers, a cash bar, a 50-50 raffle, a silent auction, and many familiar, friendly faces from the greater Racine neighborhood.

Silent Auction and items include sports memorabilia and equipment, artwork, themed baskets, home décor, dine out and retail gift certificates from local businesses.

This year’s event features a special appearance by retired Packer player Gilbert Brown. He will be signing autographs from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for an additional $20 (to benefit the Gilbert Brown Foundation). Items will be available at the event for autograph or one’s own items can be brought. The Gilbert Brown appearance is available only to “Take a Taste Out of Crime” ticket holders age 21 and older.

Updates about “Take a Taste Out of Crime” will be posted on the Racine Neighborhood Watch Facebook page. Find and "like" Racine Neighborhood Watch on Facebook at Racine Neighborhood Watch, Inc., or www.facebook.com/RacineNeighborhoodWatch
