Explorer Post 500 is holding an Open House and Recruiting Night Thursday September 13th at the Sturtevant Village Hall, 2801 89th St, Sturtevant, WI. The event will be held from 6:00-7:30pm.
Explorer Post 500 is a youth organization affiliated with the B.S.A. and offers youth 14-21 the opportunity to learn about: Fire Fighting, Emergency Medical Services, Police and Law Enforcement as well as community emergency response (C.E.R.T). Youth also learn about leadership, building character and how to serve their community. Most recently Explorer Post 500 provided Fire Extinguisher Training for over 400 people at this year's Racine County Fair.
Post 500 is sponsored by the Racine Fire Bell Club, Waste Management and Burlington RV Superstore and supported through the help of many Racine area agencies.
