Last week at the downtown Racine Festival Hall, Gifford 5th grade students took a trip to a Career and Technology Fair.
There were exhibits on electronic robots, medical fields, hairdressers, intricate woodworking, and plenty more. All the curious kids were excited about exploring the exhibits and learning job skills along the way. There were countless booths to get kids interested in amazing jobs.
Some were heroic firefighters, technician whizzes, clever engineers, careful doctors, and many more exciting careers! One exhibit even let you make a picture frame out of recycled plastic! The fair was a fun and great way to learn about many different jobs. The main focuses were science, health, and engineering.
I hope that this letter was very appealing. Thanks for reading and have an extravagant day from your Gifford Junior Journalist.
