An existing company already in Racine County is in talks with Mount Pleasant officials to expand and relocate here.
According to Logan Martin, community development coordinator, the company - which is not being identified at this time - could invest $5.3 million in the former Towne Ford property.
"The company would use the existing building but repurpose it for their needs," he said.
They would move existing jobs and create another 25, bringing the total number of employees to about 70.
There is a joint Community Development Authority/Village Board meeting Monday to discuss potential financial incentives to help bring the business to Mount Pleasant.
