Texas Roadhouse Expected to Bring 125 Jobs to Mount Pleasant-Sturtevant Patch

The restaurant expects to need 25-35 workers per shift.

New jobs are coming to Mount Pleasant-Sturtevant Patch when the new Texas Roadhouse opens next spring.

Jennifer Mowen came before the Mount Pleasant Planning Commission on June 22 for final site plan approval and confirmed that the restaurant will employ about 125 people as managers, waitstaff, bussing staff, and in the kitchen.

"This is a good thing for the village and the entire area," said Trustee John Hewitt. He is also a member of the Plan Commission. "Not only will residents have more choices for where to eat dinner, but we need jobs here and this is a great step in that direction."
