Smiles in Sturtevant Will Get Brighter This Summer

A new Dental Associates office is moving into the old Saturn dealership in the Renaissance Business Park.

When the Dental Associates clinic opens in the old Saturn car dealership building at Highway 20 and Renaissance Boulevard later this year, it will bring with it 32 new full time jobs. Dental Associates, which operates eight clinics from Green Bay to Kenosha, will occupy the whole building.

Chief Executive Officer Anthony Vastardis says the new Sturtevant clinic should open shortly after the 4th of July.

"The company focus is high value affordable dentistry. A lot of dentistry for a very affordable price,” he said. “We are definitely geared towards working families, serving individuals from two years old and up.”

Village President Steve Jansen is thrilled to welcome a new business to the area.

"We've really been focused on retaining jobs given the economy," he said. "So to be able to see a new business come in with family-supporting jobs is great news."

What makes Dental Associates unique is patients will be able to take advantage of several different dental specialties in one location.

"Instead of going to several office for different services, there will be specialists on staff for general denistry, periodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery and prosthodontics," Vastardis said.

Offering a multi-specialty practice is a new choice in dental care. In addition to the convenience, it can also result in improved communication between the patient, their general dentist and the specialists they may need.

On staff at the Sturtevant location will be five dentists, three hygienists, six administrative workers, several dental assistants and specialists. When the new highway 20 clinic opens and a sister clinic opens in Franklin after Labor Day, Dental Associates  will have a total of 10 clinics employing over 800 people. The company has been providing dental services for 38 years.
