The Rock, located at the old Crystal Ridge Ski Hill on Rawson Avenue, hosts baseball, gravity biking, BMX, skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing, as well as numerous entertainment events. Among the cool aspects are replica baseball diamonds that have some of the characteristics of Major League ballparks and the Midwest’s first Umbrella Bar. Read more on Greendale Patch.

Waukesha Woodman's Makes It Official

Its doors have been opening for more than a month now, but the new Woodman's Food Market at 1600 E. Main St. in Waukesha just held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. Ashley Furniture on the Move

The Ashley Furniture store at 6801 S. 27th St. in Franklin is closing its doors on Wednesday and re-opening two days later at a new location farther north on 27th Street. The Franklin store will close at 9 p.m. Wednesday and on Friday, the new store, in a smaller location, will open at 4771 S. 27th St. in Greenfield, next to the Target. Construction crews are busy remodeling the building, which was previously home to Value City Furniture. Read more on Greenfield Patch.
