Memorial Day Recipes; What's Your Favorite?

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer no matter what the calendar says. So far, weather reports look mostly favorable with a little rain, but temperatures are predicted to feel somewhat summery.

Will Mount Pleasant-Sturtevant Patchers cook out this weekend or do you have a different menu planned?

Here's one from us to get started, but fair warning; this is highly addictive:

Chili Cheese Dip

1 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened
1 15-ounce can of meatless chili
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread cream cheese in the bottom of an 8 x 11 pan. Pour the chili on top and cover with cheese. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with corn chips.
