From Art to Insects, Summer Camps Will Educate and Entertain

Here's a list of summer of fun for Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant kids.

As the weather starts to warm up, moms and dads across Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant are trying to figure out what to do with the rugrats.

Here's a list of local summer camp options that guarantee a summer of (supervised) fun.

Play kickball, volleyball, tennis, golf or softball, or just hang around at a supervised playground for hours of fun. Locations: Various in Mount Pleasant. Dates: Some sports teams start practices in May; Supervised playgrounds run from June 15 - Aug. 4. Ages: School-age. Price: $10 to $60, depending on whether it’s a one-day clinic or a weeklong event. Kenosha Public Museums: Kids can learn about diverse topics ranging from cartooning to African arts to civil war life. Dates: June 20 - Aug. 11. Price: $28 - $70/week.
