Best of Craigslist: Mr. Spock and Capt. Kirk Candy Collectibles

You can find all sorts of unusual treasures on Craiglist. Here are some of the more interesting items floating around this week.

Because one man’s trash is another man’s glass roosters, Patch has scoured Craigslist in Milwaukee-area Patch communities to find some of the most interesting and unusual items posted for sale this week.

Star Trek collectible Pez dispensers – Port Washington

Going where no candy has ever gone before.

Elvis – Greenfield

Much to my surprise, it was not exactly Elvis. But a porcelain, lighted Christmas tree paying homage to jumpsuit Elvis is close enough for $125.

1973 Pepsi machine – Port Washington

Tab or Faygo Redpop, anyone?

Bedpan – Saukville

Rest assured, this is not a euphemism or arcane description of another item. It’s a bedpan, for $25.

Steve Bono jersey — Port Washington

If we have to tell you that he played mostly for Kansas City and San Francisco, along with two appearances for the Green Bay Packers … it’s not worth the $15.

Patch does not vouch for the quality or availability of any of the items listed.

Matthew, it's Mr. Spock if we're talking about the First Officer on the classic Enterprise.
I don't think Dr. Spock had his own Pez dispenser. Diaper wipes, maybe.

If they originally sold it as a collectible it is not worth collecting

So true, Jack! My husband's father invented the collectibles biz in NYC in 1962 (Fun Antiques) and now you can get so-called "collectibles" at Big Lots. This set is common so you'd have to hold on to it for decades, keep it dust free, never open it, and hope Star Trek is still "hot" a couple generations from now but hey, it's fun for Trekkers and would make a cute gift.

Randy (assuming you are the real Randy), you are so right. The correction has been made, thanks.

I found a mr Spock wooden nickle. One side says " in Spock we trust" and other side has a quote" mr Spock wouldn't lie". Is it worth anything

Rees; When the Sacred village Board cloaked the building of a new Village hall for over $17 million,Read More it was brought to there attention to build TWO new fire stations. One south, one north. Instead they built the Taj Mahal and a distance fire station. Maybe the two remaining Trustees could orate their decision for the residents.

Would of made sense you would of at least met the village taxpayer half way ! Oh another thing I noticed Chief Police do your patrol officers think its cool with there phone in there hand while driving its very obvious there not talking business ! If any one gets hit by a patrol car make sure they receive a ticket for inattentive driving !

Hmm "make a stronger Wisconsin than ever". Yup Scottie, 44th in the country is the beat!Read More Soon 50th? Inverted math? "The recall brought us closer together" You won spending 6-1 using a majority of out of state $, had 5 times longer to campaign and won because one side failed to confront the second battle of recalls as a whole vs Scotties recall. "For decades we will be able to look up public officials and hopefuls, teachers, neighbors, interviewees" so much for freedom of speech & the recall Scott Walker used to become Milwaukee's head of busted political officials. Scott you were hired to represent all citizens of Wisconsin.

"Team of geniuses"? Your joking of course. My email box is blown off the planet by youRead More guys. What gives? For a couple of months I really thought this was the place to come to find out what was going on. You were giving the JT a real run for the money. Not any more. Maybe it's just me, and if so, I apologize, but there are better places to waste time then the Patch.
