Benefit Saturday for Injured South Shore Admin Assistant

Need plans for Saturday? Enjoy live music, raffles and a pig roast to help aid South Shore Administrative Assistant Lori Swenson pay her medical bills after she was critically injured in a motorcycle accident.

Come out for food, fun, live music and more Saturday night to help raise money for the medical bills and rehabilitation costs for South Shore Fire Administrative Assistant Lori Swenson.

Hosted by The Mosquito Inn, 3208 4 Mile Road, in Caledonia, the fundraiser is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. The $10 cover charge nets supporters a pig roast, live music with Fall Hazard and Full Flavor, a 50/50 raffle, a bake sale and more. All proceeds will go toward the costs associated with Swenson's recovery.

Swenson was injured Aug. 4 in a motorcycle accident in Oak Creek. She and the person with whom she was riding were both thrown from the bike. Swenson spent several weeks at Froedtert Hospital and has since been moved to a rehabilitation center to continue on her road to recovery.
