Join your family and friends at SE Wisconsin's ONLY costumed race -- Real Racine Skeleton Skamper 2011!
Dress in your favorite Halloween outfit for your choice of a half marathon, 5k run/walk or a trick-or-treat walk (including goodies along the way) through the Village of Mount Pleasant. All events start at the Village Campus, 8811 Campus Drive (near Highway 20 and 90th Street.)
Half marathon - timed with male/female awards in 10 age categories. Starts at 8:30 a.m.
5k run/walk - male/female 5k awards in 12 age categories; jogging strollers and wagons are welcome. Wear your costumes! Starts at 9 a.m.
Trick-or-treat walk (sponsored by Ruud Lighting) - all children must register; free to adults accompanying a paid child. Features 10 trick-or-treat stops along the way. All participants receive a glow-in-the-dark drawstring bag. Starts at 10 a.m.

More About Mount Pleasant Village Hall
At Village Hall, residents can pay property taxes, sign up for programs through the Parks Department, register to vote, and pay tickets and taxes among other services.
The new village hall is now open just north of the intersection of Washington Avenue and 90th Street. The new building anchors a centrally located campus that is also be home to the police department, and a new Department of Public Works building is also now open for business.
A good deal of green space will be incorporated into the existing Smolenski Park on Stuart Road.
