Under Governor Walker we are moving Wisconsin forward
Now that the dust has settled and the seemingly endless campaigns are behind us, we have come a long way in the last two years and can finally sit and look at the accomplishments that Governor Walker has put in place to move Wisconsin forward.
When he came into office, he inherited a $3.6 billion budget deficit and under the previous democrat control of the state legislature spending was out of control and no end was in sight.
Governor Walker stepped right into the muck and the mire and with his sleeves rolled up; he made immediate and difficult changes that have put us back on a track toward prosperity.
In just two short years we have not only balanced that budget deficit, but have a projected surplus of $484 million. In doing so we have seen tax relief for middle class families and our state’s job creators have received the necessary tools they need to spur their businesses and open the doors for new employment opportunities for Wisconsinites looking for work.
Governor Walker laid out a bold path for future prosperity in the State of the State address a few weeks back. It all starts with continuing to improve our jobs climate.
For the last three years of the previous administration, Wisconsin lost 150,000 jobs due to onerous regulation and a burdensome tax structure to our state’s small business community.
The changes put forth by Governor Walker and his legislative allies have laid the solid foundation for jobs to once again move back to the Badger State and for people here to start hiring again. There is a reason that we have Wisconsin is Open for Business signs posted at the entrances of our state. That reason is that with the ability for a company to finally grow in Wisconsin job creators once again have been given the reins for their own success.
Studies now show that right before the governor took office only 10 percent of job creators thought the business climate in our state was headed in the right direction. That same study now shows that 94 percent of job creators think that we are going forward toward prosperity.
Despite the ramblings of the far left and their counterparts in the big government public union sector, we have made the turn and I have no doubt that we will continue to grow the job base in Wisconsin under the governor’s watchful eye.
At every turn his detractors have promised, promulgated and predicted failure. At every turn they have been quieted even further from their ranting. Governor Walker is a true man of vision, and the hard work he is doing in Madison is directly responsible for our growing economy and the ability for local job creators to add to the badger State’s workforce.
We are lucky to have a man of bold vision and foresight at the helm of our state; we are taking on the tough issues of today to create a better future for tomorrow. With Governor Scott Walker making the tough but prudent decisions that we needs, we will keep Wisconsin moving forward.

"Wisconsinites looking for work" does not seem to be the problem, Wisconsin businesses are looking for employees and are not finding them. Either our education system is not providing a qualified work force or the people that are not working are too comfortable being unemployed. Place a want ad for a skilled employee and then sit around and listen to the chirp, chirp, chirp of the crickets.

Fortunately the nay-saying opposition party has been relegated to banging their spoons on the sidelines, and spouting ludicrous platitudes about how they can somehow do it better. Good thing our memories aren't that short, however. They deserve being ignored for having screwed everything up in the first place.

That was not a snide remark, Keith actually does not know where he is. When he was done making this post he went and peed in the closet, again. They moved him to the second floor, at the nursing home, and now he tells everyone that his new room is an "official headquarters" over Irina's Kitchen. The doctor says it won't be long now.

Yes, Walker has given the rich what they wanted...tax breaks, incentives, and made his agenda of a "right to work"/union squashing agenda clear. So, yes, business owners are applauding his efforts. They aren't, despite what you feel is moving "forward", providing decent paying jobs in WI. WI is near the bottom of the country in job creation.

For 2012 Wisconsin gained fewer than 20,000 new jobs. That ranks us 41st among all the states.

I love Scott Walker! With his plan to borrow more than $1 billion to hire people then charge it to the state, borrow billions more to pay for road construction, his determination to take away local control and put it in his power (where it belongs as local leaders are too foolish to actually make decison) and decimate the public education system with all the moochers who refuse to pay to send their kids to school. And lazy teachers who make upwards of $27,000 per year for a lousy part time job. The public schools in Waukesha are terrible. So terrible even our own school board members have stood with Walker, so if they support draining funds out of their schools are rightfully funneling the money to private schools, then so should you!

Why Walker and Friends NEED to succeed and Obama and his hanger-oners need to go away.
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. This clearly can't possibly be made up story that took place at a "local college" bodes true to what Obama is doing out there and ruining the country. Meanwhile here in Wisconsin we're seeing success. The Journal Sentinel just reported the jobs numbers have been revised from 39,000 under Governor Walker to 20,000 under Governor Walker. This proves our economics are successful and everyone is properous under our leaders. In fact, 20,000 fat jobs created since Governor Walker took office means I have zero doubt he will not only make his promise of 250,000 new jobs by the end of his term, but he will eclipse it by far as this rate is roughly a 1,000 new jobs per month breakneck speed of economic growth. It's working Wisconsin!

I voted for Barrett because he would have built trolleys all over the state. Everyone knows that trolleys are a huge attraction for tourists. People would have come to wisconsin from around the world just to ride our trolleys. Also, trolleys are a great place for homeless people to stay at night. The rocking motion helps them sleep.

It is hard to imagine how he could make things much worse.
But Scott Walker is trying. And if the Legislature embraces his austerity agenda, Wisconsin might well make it to No. 43 or No. 44.
Who knows, Walker might even be able to displace Mississippi and get Wisconsin into the bottom five.
With so much evidence that he is heading the wrong way, even Walker might change direction. Indeed, the only reason Walker would keep doing what he has been doing is if he actually believes what he is saying.
And that, as noted, is the most unsettling prospect of all.

You're only counted as unemployed when you're collecting unemployment comp. Walker turned down federal money for unemployment extension so he could drop unemployed off the rolls to boost his numbers. Funny how it was only believed when Mr. 43%'er pointed that out in his unsuccessful bid for POTUS but how quickly the standard is turned when no longer useful.
