So how do you get 545 people to mess with 300,000,000?
In a very interesting article written eons ago by a op-editor, Charlie Reese (nice last name) at the Orlando Sentinel in Florida, came up with a very objective and non-political answer to our current and past problems. It is just as current today as it was in Feb. 3, 1984, when it was first written.
It has also been doing the Internet circuit for years and we have the an original copy by the Orlando Sentinel to link to. Very good reading whether you are a conservative republican or liberal democrat.
