Where's the Best Place for a Pre-Prom Dinner?

Prom is May 19, and thousands of high school students are starting to scope out places to take their dates on the big night. Where do you think the best choices are?

Prom is coming, and there's no place like Racine for this ultimate high school experience. Patch is looking for help naming the best place in Mount Pleasant, Sturtevant and Caledonia to take a date before prom.

We've listed some of the options here — from the traditional to the funny — and now it's your turn to help us pick. Vote in the poll below, leave a star rating or review on the restaurant's directory page (do that by clicking on the restaurant's name), and tell us all about your favorite in the comment section.

The winner will be chosen by Patch editors, based on poll votes, restaurant ratings, reviews and comments. Voting opens at 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, and closes at 9 a.m. Friday, April 6.

How could you miss Honey Bee II, the best thing to happen to the north side in years?

Lone Star is a joke... everything about it is significantly lesser than Texas Roadhouse... from the food to the prices. So, if anyone is thinking Lone Star, they would really be better off going Texas Roadhouse. For a nice classy (but pricey) experience... I would say Sebastians is the clear best... and maybe they will have some specials to keep the prices down a little for the young adults.

Thanks for the reminders on some of these place! We've added Honey B's, Red Lobster and Texas Roadhouse to the running. As for Applebee's, and the other Racine places mentioned, we're keeping the focus on Caledonia, Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant.

Janine, How about Well's Brothers?? They are highly rated because they are the best. Been in business for over 90 years and what a great family.
