Where is the Best Place for Pizza in Racine County?

Patch wants to know where you go for your pizza fix!

Who has the best pizza in Racine County?

That’s what we’d like to know this week in the latest edition of Food Fight, a new column on Patch that searches for the best places to eat in the area.

Each week, we want your suggestions on the best restaurants, diners and cafes for pizza, barbecue, pasta and more. We want your vote and your opinions for the best entrees in the area.

This week we want to know: Who has the best pizza in Racine County?

You can let us know by leaving a comment below. You may submit comments until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

From there, we will take the top nominees and post an article announcing them first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again to decide the Food Fight champion.

Voting will continue until Friday at 5 p.m. Then, on Saturday morning, we will announce the winner.

So show your hometown pride and pick a place near you. Boast about your favorite pizza and sing the virtues of its crust, sauce and toppings.

And, if you are pulling for a certain restaurant, share this column on your Facebook page and Twitter feed and ask your followers to vote.

This column is all about you—your ideas, your feedback and your voice—so we hope you will chime in and check back.

So, without further ado, let's get the voting started. Patch readers, tell us by commenting below, where is the BEST place to get pizza in Racine County.

About this column: Each week, the Racine County Patch sites will seek the best place to get certain entrees in the area. The Food Fight will allow readers to vote on their favorite place to get a burger or a latte or a steak, etc., in the area. We will ask for submissions every Monday, will post finalists every Wednesday and the champion on Saturday. Be sure to check back to vote.

I'm going with Infusino's ... thin crust cheese/sausage with peppers and onions. Wow. I think I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Derangos on 6 mile! Mr. Denise's favorite. I like Drangos too, but when I want something a little offbeat, I love Henry & Wanda's Thai pizza.

Depends how you are catagorizing. Thin crust? None better than Wells Brothers, the definitive classic thin-crust that hasn't changed in generations, for good reason!

DeRangos 6 Mile has the best pizza in Racine - especially their pan & virgin crust. I like all of their food really.

Napoli's in Burlington really has thee best Italian food. Pizza and seafood alfredo are SOOO good.

I'll disclose that my family is good friends with the family that owns/operates Napoli's, however, I still stand by my vote on purely subjective grounds as you're right - Napoli's does have the BEST Italian food! :-)

Someone on Facebook said Ferraro's ... and we have another vote for Infusino's (this one on Rapids). My Infusino's is in West Racine.

I forgot all about Ferraro's - good call! Although, because I haven't had it in such a long time, I can't say for sure if it would top DeRango's or Napoli's.

Growing up, we ALWAYS got our pizza from Ferraro's. But the one on 3 Mile. It was so delish :) Not there anymore tho.

Wells Brothers, then Bernie's Pizzeria on Lathrop, then toss up between Infusino's or DeRango's on 6 Mile.

I don't know how I forgot about Wells Bros. I don't usually choose thin crust - but they do have the best thin crust in town.
