Weatherston Thanks His Supporters After Election

Tom Weatherston writes a letter to the editor thanking his supporters for electing him to the 62nd Assembly seat.

I would first of all like to thank the people of the 62nd District for giving me the chance to represent them in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Voters in Wind Lake, Raymond, Caledonia, Racine, Wind Point, North Bay, and Mt. Pleasant went to the polls last Tuesday and made their choice.

I am honored by their decision and I will work to represent all of the citizens of the district. I would also like to thank all of my supporters and volunteers who made this possible. I could not have done this alone and I am grateful for their continued support.

When the Legislature starts its new session in January, I will get to work immediately on bringing jobs to Racine County, reducing government waste, and keeping taxes low. Working with my new colleges in the Assembly, we will make real positive changes by reducing over-regulation and creating an
atmosphere that promotes job growth. My background and experience as an engineer will bring a fresh outside perspective to Madison, as ideas that look good on paper in a government office don’t always work very well in the real world.

For more information on my stance on the issues, visit my web site at www.WeatherstonForAssembly.com. You can also call me at (262) 989-3424 or email at tweatherston@gmail.com .

I look forward to serving you as your representative in the State Assembly.
